Original Japanese Dawn of the Dead “Zombie” Lobby Card Set – Complete Set of 8
A rare opportunity to own a complete set of eight original Japanese lobby cards produced for George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead, released in Japan under the title ゾンビ (Zombie).
Each card features a different full-colour promotional image from the film, including some of the movie’s most memorable imagery from the Monroeville Mall, the rooftop scenes and the undead hordes.
These original Japanese promotional cards are becoming extremely difficult to find, particularly as a matching set of all eight. With their bold colour photography and distinctive Japanese Zombie artwork and typography along the bottom, they make an outstanding display piece for any serious Dawn of the Dead, George A. Romero or international horror-memorabilia collection.
Each lobby card measures approximately 10 x 14 inches (25 x 35.5 cm).
The complete set is in very good vintage condition overall. There are some small pin holes from previous display, consistent with their original promotional use and age. Please examine the photographs carefully for the condition of each individual card.
