Night of the Living Dead – Original Behind-the-Scenes Farmhouse Photo – Signed by George A. Romero + Cast & Crew

A fantastic piece of Night of the Living Dead history, featuring a rare colour behind-the-scenes photograph taken during production of George A. Romero’s landmark 1968 film.
The photograph was taken at the farmhouse filming location, showing the field during production and offering fans a fascinating glimpse of the activity taking place behind the camera. Colour behind-the-scenes imagery from Night of the Living Dead is particularly interesting to collectors, as the finished film was released in black and white and many surviving production photographs are themselves monochrome.
This photograph has been signed by five people connected with the production:
George A. Romero
Ella Mae Smith
Dick Heckard
Dave James
Gary Streiner
Most importantly, the photograph bears the autograph of George A. Romero, director and co-creator of Night of the Living Dead. Romero-signed material connected directly with the original film has become increasingly desirable, and a signed photograph showing the production actually taking place at one of the movie’s most important filming locations makes this an especially appealing display piece.
The image itself is wonderful for fans of the film. Rather than being a conventional publicity still, it captures an authentic behind-the-scenes moment at the farmhouse field, with cast and crew visible during production. It gives a glimpse into the making of the movie that helped change horror cinema forever.
